This may be completely basic, but not sure how to do it.

If I have a value in one cell I would like to use it is part of what I write in another cell

So for example if I have the number 6 in one cell I want another to say '6 Months' and if I change it to 8 the other cell should say '8 Months'.

I am sure it can be done, just not sure how to phrase the question when I search for the answer

Thanks

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
If you want it to just say month for 1, you could alter that to this:
=A1&IF(A1=1," Month"," Months")
