Hi

I wonder if someone could assist this an issue I am having.

I have a spreadsheet with Sheet1 and sheet2 - sheet 2 has data (a budget) and I am importing information from sheet 1 (i.e. ='Sheet 1'.B4) this data ends up in C8 on sheet 2 now I want to be able to use the imported data in a calculation i.e. +C7-C8 but I get an error #Value!

Many thanks for any help.

Hi

B4 has just data as is C7 i.e. $500.00 currency.

C8 on sheet 2 is the formula? ='Sheet 1'.B4 which I believe is the issue?

It may be a regional thing, but try ='Sheet 1'!B4

I am assuming a space exists in the name as shown, which is why the single-quotes got added.
