I have created a spreadsheet with macros in Excel 2010, but it will not open and run when co-workers who have older versions of Excel try and open it. If I "save as" a 97-2003 compatible version, I cannot find a selection for a macro-enabled format. any suggestions??>

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
For those versions of Excel the .xls filetype can contain macros. Whether macros are enabled is a different issue.

The "macro enabled format" started with Excel 2007. If you save it as a .xls workbook, the macros should still be there. The only real way to know if an Excel 2010 macro will work in an older version is to test it. There haven't been too many changes to VBA since 2000, but there have been some formulas and methods that have changed a bit.
