Is it possible to use Excel to check links work correctly? I know that you can check whether an affiliate link is broken or not using VBA but is it possible to tell if a link is a) redirected to a page not found or b) the page visited pulls in the page not found text without changing the URL or c) redirects to the homepage?

Is there any way to use Excel to highlight these specific redirects and also is there any way of telling if a URL has landed on a page with certain text on it such as 'page not found' and similar. If so, does anyone have code that they could share that would do this?

Many thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
