Hi - I am performing an audit with a scope of 7-1-09 to 1-7-11. Is there a method in excel to determine the amount of working days in that scope (I am checking daily work and want to leave out the weekends)

Thanks!

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
You can use NETWORKDAYS to count working days in a date range. If you have star date in A2 and end date in B2 this gives you the working days inclusive of those 2 dates

=NETWORKDAYS(A2,B2)

you can also exclude holidays if you want.......

You need to list the holiday dates somewhere on the worksheet, e.g. if you list holiday dates in H2:H50 then use

=NETWORKDAYS9A2,B2,H$2:H$50)
