Using greater than and less than with an IFS statement

I have a spreadsheet that has a column with the months of the year shown as a number.
I am trying to write an ifs statement that will go down the column and identify which quarter a month belongs with And place that number (1, 2, 3, 4) in a column next to the month.

I currently have this formula which works but seems rather clunky.

=@IFS(G2=1,"1",G2=2,"1",G2=3,"1",G2=4,"2",G2=5,"2",G2=6,"2",G2=7,"3",G2=8,"3",G2=9,"3",G2=10,"4",G2=11,"4",G2=12,"4")

Any advice on how to do this?
