using macro to call "get data from folder" command of Excel

Hi guys and girls!

I am working on a macro that gets data from excel files in a folder.

I used someone's macro that opens and gets data from every individual excel file.

it works perfectly, but I find it's much slower than the "(Get data) from folder" command.

I find that simply recording the macro while using "from folder" command doesn't work. is there a way to create a macro for it?

Can you post that code, and maybe then we can help you make it more efficient?

And where do you see some "Get data from folder" command? I am not sure I ever heard of that (or if it makes any sense, as data resides in files, not folders).
Can you provide a reference to that?

I can use the command of "from folder" to combine and load data of excel files in a folder. this is where I find it.

OK, I have never used that functionality before.
There are many way to create/write VBA code.
If you give us specific details of exactly what you are trying to do, we may be able to come up with some code that may (or may not) work faster than the code you already have.
