Hi

I have been reading MrExcell's book and I have tried a few things and it gave me confidence to try others.

I am using W7 and MS Office 2007.

I have created an Excel sheet that will be passed to others to fill in specific details.

I am using hyperlinks to access my website and to send an email.

I have created an 'Option Button (Form Control) which I am checking if the box has been ticked.

All of this works great until I protect the sheet :confused:

Once the sheet is protected I cannot use the hyperlinks (to the website or email address) and I am unable to use the 'Option Box'.

I am sure that there is someone who may be able to help me.

Thanks in advance.

Dave

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
You could try using a userform to store the data that you want from your hidden sheet and run your criteria based on what is stored in the userform.

You can store data in a userform without actually showing the form as per the following example.

Code:
Sub Data1()
UserForm1.TextBox1.Value = Sheets("Sheet2").Range("A1").Value
End Sub

And then use if statements to achieve what you want.
