Using sum if to calculate sum within a given month and specified range

I have been working on the function below for hours, the first thing I did today was work on it and the I still have not gotten it to work.

=SUM(IF(LEN(A27),SUMPRODUCT((RIGHT(Sold!$D$15:$D$9000,LEN(A27))=A27),(IF(MONTH(Sold!$L$15:$L$9000)=1,Sold!$P$15:$P$9000,"")))))

A27 is where any text value i.e "Icon" where to appear in Sold!D15:D9000 is.
I will like to calculate the the sum of that text value found in P15:P9000 and calculate it if the date is the month of January in L15:L9000.
