Using the Find function within VBE

Perhaps it is just me, but shouldn't I be able to search through all of the code within workbook to find parts of different code that contain a certain string. For example when the Find dialog box appears, shouldn't I be able to search through all of my code for...


or search for a maybe a special character that I have used like...

Tick the Use pattern matching option and enter:

[[]*'*]

in the Find box.

Solution
The opening square bracket is a special character and has to be escaped by enclosing it in square brackets
