Hello everyone,

I am new to VBA and I would like to to know how I can benefit from using macros in automating some budgeting tasks.

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
I have been in Cost accounting/ budgeting for years. Where they come in most handy is getting data from different sources or reports. For one company I was able to combine reports from SAP in minutes versus and hour manually having to get the data and paste to each location. Removing repetitive tasks helps you stay out of the weeds and concentrate on the necessary stuff.
