I'm looking for help with code. I need it to do: look at the cells in column A and if the are a certain text, then the corresponding cells in column F should be range named "x" and the corresponding cells in column I should be range named "y"
And i need it to loop down through the sheet as i have 140 groups of information.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
What do you mean "140 groups of information"?

Do you really want a defined name of X ( or Y ) referring to non-contiguous cells? For what purpose?
