I'm using a Named Set in PowerPivot to return specific columns from my data model,
[MyTable].[Dimension1].[Dimension1].MEMBERS
* [MyTable].[Dimension2].[Dimension2].MEMBERS
* [MyTable].[Dimension3].[Dimension3].MEMBERS
I want to filter this set based on a fourth dimension, but don't want that dimension returned in the set, so I'm trying to do something like this
{[MyTable].[Dimension1].[Dimension1].MEMBERS
* [MyTable].[Dimension2].[Dimension2].MEMBERS
* [MyTable].[Dimension3].[Dimension3].MEMBERS}
WHERE [MyTable].[Dimension4].&[ValuesToKeep]
But this returns an error saying that the query did not run or the data model could not be accessed.
Can WHERE be used to filter sets in PowerPivot?
