V Lookup?

I've got a worksheet that has a list of 'products' for a particular vendor/retailer. Each product has its own UPC(ID Code). At the end of each row of products, I want to have the vendors competitors where I will put a 'checkmark' if the competitor carries the same product. Is there a way to do this using V-lookup or something else? Example:

Vendor Comp A Yes? Comp B Yes?
UPC ProductName Dollar Volume
12345 soap $4.00 X X

I would essentially pull this same report for the competitors on other worksheets.
Any Help would be appreciated!
