Hello..

I'm sure this has been asked many times but I could not find teh anwer by searching the forums.

I need a simple true false test to validate a date cell. i.e. 00/01/1900 should be false.

Can someone please assist?

Thanks

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Does the date already exist in the cell or is someone entering it from the keyboard?

If the latter, you could use Data > Data Validation with Allow set to Date.

If the former, Zack Barresse has written a function which will do the job: http://www.vbaexpress.com/kb/getarticle.php?kb_id=323.
