Validation & List

Hi,

I have created a name list using data validation and the result is just great. However I've seen another worksheet where if you wanted to add a name not in the list, you just type it in the same space and it stays there. However the list I have created doesn't seem to allow typing in the cells where its placed. Any suggestions.

In the Data Validation dialogue box, go to Error Alert, then uncheck show error alert when invalid data is entered in a cell and you can type in without any problem, and still have your list if rquired
