Hi
I need to validate both the input and result cells. How is this possible?

e.g I need to source material from North, East and West - the total of which needs to be 100%. Now, I have given validation list for North and East so I can pick up any % from these 2 regions. West is (100%-(North+East)). But the problem is:

1. North and East together shall not exceed 100%
2. West should not be a negative number

Scenario -1: Correct

How can I validate the cells with some kind of error-message??

Thanks in advance

What is the Data Validation in the yellow cells? Perhaps it can be modified.

If it is a data validation list in the yellow cells then perhaps you could just use something like this in the 'West cell'?

Excel Workbook
AB
1Sourcing from% sourced
2North90%
3East60%
4WestError above
