When submitting information to a spreadsheet, via a macro, how can I put in validation to prevent the macro running if certain cells are empty?

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Code:
If [A1] <> "" then
 'put your code here
end if

If you place your code where I state above, that will only be run if cell A1 contains something other than nothing.
