variable diplay not working

Why would VBA variable diplay not be working?
Ussually if I am running a macro and break it or it stops(error) I can go over the variable with the mouse and see them. Right now when I really need it it doesn't, Any Ideas?? Help is greatly apreciatted.

I don't have an answer to the "why" question... this happens to me something as well and I don't know what the trigger for it is. However, you are not stuck with not being able to find out what is in your variable... just have Excel tell you. Let's say the variable whose contents you want to know is named MyVariable, then when in break mode (debug mode), execute this line of code in the Immediate Window...

? MyVariable

If you do not see the Immediate Window, just press CTRL+G, or click View/Immediate Window on the menu bar, to display it.

In the VBE, Tools > Options > Editor, make sure Auto Data Tips is ticked.
