I'm trying to set up a macro that will ask the user for a Staff name, then locate the two rows associated with that staff member and delete those rows.
What code do I need to find the row with the staff name in and select that row and the row below?
Cheers
Janni

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Try

Code:
Sub test()
Dim Found As Range, staff As String
staff = InputBox("Enter staff name")
Set Found = Cells.Find(what:=staff, LookIn:=xlValues, lookat:=xlWhole)
If Not Found Is Nothing Then Found.EntireRow.Resize(2).Delete
End Sub
