Hi,

Is there a way to, via a macro, build a countifs-function dynamically based on cell values?

Eg:

In Sheet2, Range A:A, I have three cells filled in.
These will then be my criterias for the countifs-function.
In the cell next to the criteria-cell I have a number - which is the column for where the criteria should be applied.

The countifs-function would then look something like this:
Code:
Count = WorksheetFunction.CountIfs(Sheets("Sheet1").Columns(CritColumn1), Criteria1, Sheets("Sheet1").Columns(CritColumn2), Criteria2, Sheets("Sheet1").Columns(CritColumn3), Criteria3)

Is it possible to automatically add more / remove criterias based on number of non-empty cells in Sheet2, range A:A?
And that without having to pre-write the countifs-function with 10 or more criterias that all will have the criteria set to "*" until they - eventually - get assigned values?

Regards,
milko
