Hi I am trying to teach my students a simple VBA routine in Access. I would like a search button on a from which searches for a name. I have looked at meny example but can't work out where the VBA links to an exisitng Field and the label. Oh yes don't know much, well nothing about VBA. I hoping to confidently show this in my class one day.
Thanks

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
HI thanks for help I need to actually produce some code that they type in VBA that runs a routine., But thanks it was interesting.

Have you looked at the combo box wizard? It will create a combo box that does a find. Is that what you are wanting to do?
