Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Hi

Perhaps:

Code:
Dim strFolder As String
With Application.FileDialog(msoFileDialogFolderPicker)
  .AllowMultiSelect = False
  If .Show = -1 Then _
    strFolder = .SelectedItems(1)
End With

'use folder name:
MsgBox "Folder selected is " & strFolder

'Place in a cell:
Sheets("MySheet").Range("A1").Value = strFolder
