Can Excel make a desktop shortcut to the current workbook in VBA?

I have a macro that runs when a user opens a new version of my workbook and imports their data then saves it as a new name they chose

i would love it to also create a shortcut on the desktop or even better in the start menu!

is this poss?
 

Excel Facts
