I refresh a pivot table that is connected to a sql query that I run. When the query is done refreshing this code runs automatically to keep a log on another sheet that the query was refreshed successfully.

The problem is, if im not on the sheet or workbook waiting for the query to refresh, I get a debug error on the code below. how can I make it so that I can do other work while this code runs and doesnt pause to give me a debug error?

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
If Not Intersect(Range("a7"), Target) Is Nothing Then
Dim ws As Worksheet, iRow As Long, iCol As Long, i As Long

    Set ws = Sheets("Main")
    For iRow = 30 To 30
        For iCol = 1 To 1
            With ws.Cells(iRow, iCol)
If .Value = "" Then .Value = "DOSVOLUME Last Refreshed: " & .Value
            End With
        Next
    Next

    End If

End Sub

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.

Hello

Did you investigate the Worksheet_PivotTableUpdate event of the Worksheet?
