Hello Everybody,

Today i am again here with a query.I needs to know how i can record macro while i use any tool in excel.E.g.If i select record new macro from Tools option and select any tool from control tool box "http://www.imageupload.org/?d=C058D1AE1" & operate it manually then during that when i select tool then macro recorder seems disable. But as i click any on cells of sheet then it records that cell activity. It's not recording tool performance.May i know how i can record performed activities for that selected tool as well?

Regards,
Smith

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
infact i was using web browser script in that.once web open then it will input values in web fields from excel sheet.

If you want to automate different programs working together, you can look into tools like AutoIT. You can record, or program from scratch, macro's that can operate any window of any program inside Windows.

It's freeware, it's great, but you'd have to learn a new language, and also take into account the multitude of issues you can have when writing macros on that level (e.g.: moving or activating another window during the macro can/will mess up the result, from annoying to disastrous... so take care when using it)
