Hi all...
I have several macros that were written in 2000. When our company upgraded to office 2010, these Excel spreadsheets were converted to 2010. There didnt seem to be any problem with converting them. But....many of the macros seem to process WAY slower when running them in 2010 than they did in 2000. Some of the ones that used to take 5 minutes to run can now take between 30 minutes and an hour. I havent even noticed if this speed decrease with the quick little macros as if it increased from 5 seconds to 20 seconds I probably didnt even pay attention.
Any idea what gives?
Something goofy with the conversion to a 2010 file?
Some VBA commands that 2000 liked fine that 2010 hates?
Is Office 2010 straining the limits of my older machine?
Some setting in Excel that is causing this?
Any ideas would be much appreciated
