I know how to get pixel coordinates from a mouse click. I also know how to get the axes values from a series (or point selected). How do I get the axes coordinates from a mouse click in the plot area whether it hits a series, point, or open space?

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Hi,

im not to sure what you are asking (i get confused dont worry) but you can always set a value to = the x or y axis points eg
Code:
msgbox(textbox1.left)

Excel charts have a defined "plot area". I would like to mouse-click a point in the plot area space and return axes values (Scatter Chart) that may not be on a series.
