Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
if you are wanting to put a variable into a cell
Code:
dim asd as string
asd = "Hi"
thisworkbook.sheets("Sheet1").range("A1").value = asd
if you wanted to loop then
Code:
dim count as integer
dim asd as string

count = 1

do until count = 6
thisworkbook.sheets("Sheet1").range("A" & count).value = asd

count = count + 1
loop
