VBA query with protect worksheet

Anyone know how to customise the alert message when someone tries to double-click a locked cell in a protected worksheet?

Private Sub Worksheet_BeforeDoubleClick(ByVal Target As Range, Cancel As Boolean)
MsgBox ("Your message here")
Cancel = True
End Sub

will work for double-click but not if they try typing data directly
