Hello. I need my macro to find a string in a column of data and replace/remove any time it finds an open and closed parenthesis and whatever is in between. For example, if it finds (a), it should remove it, if it finds (bb), it should remove it. Here is what I have tried:

Selection.Replace What:="(" & * & ")", Replacement:="", LookAt:=xlPart,
'SearchOrder:=xlByRows, MatchCase:=False, SearchFormat:=False, _
'ReplaceFormat:=False

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
You don't have to use Selection unless you need to, you can specify the column if you want:

Code:
Sub test()
Range("A:A").Replace "(*)", "", xlPart
End Sub
