Code:
Sub FormatReprot()
Dim AC As String: AC = Sheets("main").Range("H17").Value

    ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs Filename:= _
        "C:\Dept\Report\NC.xlsm" _
        , FileFormat:=xlOpenXMLWorkbookMacroEnabled, CreateBackup:=False

I am trying to make a variable for the file name. However I instead of getting "H17" data, the title is set as NC. Is there any way to fix this?

Thank you!

The first thing is to use the same variable in your SaveAs statement that you use to store the cell H17 value. Here is the syntax you need for the SaveAs file name.
Code:
"C:\Dept\Report\" & AC & ".xlsm"
