VBA to edit and save lotus notes attachement

Hi

We have code which loops though a lotus notes email inbox, creates new folders(views) depending on the day and moves documents (with attachments) to the folder.

Now, with a Excel macro, we want to edit the attachement in each document in a folder, extract data from it to a central sheet , put a timestamp/update status in the edited file and save it again ( in effect editing the lotus notes document and saving it back ).

Main issue we need help on is the vba code to edit and save the document within lotus notes. Have searched the usual resources.
