Hello all

I'm looking for an example of VBA that will extract file names and date modified from files in all subfolders.

Does anyone have an example they could provide?

Thanks very much all

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Glad we could help & thanks for the feedback.

Sounds like you didn't set the references as it says at the top of the linked page
Note that the FileSystemObject is a component of the Microsoft Scripting library, which requires Excel 2000 or later. Also, you'll need to set a reference to Microsoft Scripting Runtime by using Tools > References in the Visual Basic Editor (Alt+F11).
