I have code that looks for a cell to be blank and if so then it applies another value.

Problem is I have people in the field that will put n/a or N/A in the cell which screws it all up. How can I add the N/A or n/a to be recognized as blank so the then is applied correctly?

If Range("C4") = "" Then

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
VBA Code:
     vt = VarType(Range("C4"))                                  'vartype of C4
     If vt = vbEmpty Or vt = vbError Then MsgBox "1" ' empty or error
