I am using this VBA to open hidden sheets in Row 5. I only want the tab to open, I don't want the sheet to open.

What am I missing here?

Thanks

Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
On Error Resume Next
If Target.Row = 5 Then
Sheets(Target.Value).Visible = xlSheetVisible
Sheets(Target.Value).Select
End If
Application.ScreenUpdating = True
End Sub

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
If you do not want it to select the sheet you are unhiding, then remove this row from your code (which is selecting it after it is opened):
VBA Code:
Sheets(Target.Value).Select
