Hi, I'm attempting to create a button that sorts a pivot table by a specific field. I'm not familiar enough with the Pivotfield object, and I'm attempting to follow the syntax, but it doesn't work properly.

My pivot table has a field called "Media Type" that I'm using as columns. The value is "Grand Total." I would like the button to auto sort by a specific Media Type, e.g. Radio or TV. It might even make sense to have a set of option buttons that change the sort, rather than a button.

Any help on the syntax would be appreciated.

Thank you!
Ryan

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Hi Ryan,

Have you tried recording a macro whilst you sort the pivot table manually, then using the recorded code as a start point?
