Hello All,

Okay, here's my question... One one work sheet I have dates across the top, and names across the left, with data for each name under each date...

Then I have another sheet where I want to pull specific data for a specific date, for a specific name.... So I would want to pull for name A, the data under August 5th... and so on... The only thing I could think of would be to combine vlookup and hlookup...Vlookup to get the name, hlookup to get the date....

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
=INDEX($A$1:$J$10,MATCH(X1,$A$1:$A$10,0),MATCH(X2,$A$1:$J$1,0))

Or

=VLOOKUP(X1,$A$1:$J$10,MATCH(X2,$A$1:$J$1,0),0)

Where X1 holds a name and X2 holds a date.
