Hi

I am using the following formula but im trying to get it to pick up the latest date that it matches (in most cases there are multiple matches)
=VLOOKUP(K3,'All Milestone Report'!$U$18:$AF$11968,3,0)
The source data is in Date order

Where am i going wrong?

I have tried changing in to the approximate setting which works if there are matches in the source data but it also populates rows where there are no matches...
=VLOOKUP(K3,'All Milestone Report'!$U$18:$AF$11968,3,TRUE) but this doesnt work as it brings up incorrect matches

Thanks
