where the formual equals =VLOOKUP($A7,singtel!$A:$M,2,FALSE)

where the vlookup is looking up the date on another spreadsheet

in this case 1 nov 05 was a holiday and i want the cell to be referenced to the 31st oct

how do i change my formula to adjust for this
 

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
