Hi,

Iam trying to work out the formula that goes with Vlookup..
This is what i want it to do,
VLOOKUP(D145,Schedule!$C$3:$E$129,3,FALSE))&" PM"
. This works fine, however If the cell is blank i would like to reference another cell.

I have tried this:

IFERROR(VLOOKUP(D145,Schedule!$A$3:$D$129,4,FALSE),VLOOKUP('Weekly Activity'!D145,Schedule!$A$3:$J$1294,10,FALSE))&"PM"
, however it keeps returning a value of 0 even though the cell is empty.

ALl help much appreciated.

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Untested, but don't you need the value if fasle part in there, which would be ,"", and the value if true is the second lookup?

IFERROR(VLOOKUP(D145,Schedule!$A$3:$D$129,4,FALSE),"",VLOOKUP('Weekly Activity'!D145,Schedule!$A$3:$J$1294,10,FALSE))&"PM"

Regards,
Howard
