Worksheet 1 B1:D600
b1 c1 d1
1 Res YAB ABC Comp
2 Cl yxyz XYZ Corp

Worksheet 2
What I want to try to say is...
=If(Worksheet 1 says "Res", then vlookup d1, "")

I tried using vlookup and it's not working the way I want it.

Hope this makes sense.

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
I was able to get the vlookup to work between pages, my problem is that is the word "Res" is re-ocurring in colum A, then I want the corrsponding word in column C.
