vlookup problem

Hi All ok I have this =IFERROR(VLOOKUP(BA7,$BS$4:$BT$13,2),"")and it is set up like this<o:p></o:p>
BS BT<o:p></o:p>

d*d*d*<o:p></o:p>

420<o:p></o:p>

d*d*d<o:p></o:p>

400<o:p></o:p>

d*dd<o:p></o:p>

The problem is when I have d*d*d* it will not show 420 butshows 400.<o:p></o:p>
Any ideas? All help appreciated Colin X<o:p></o:p>
