Hi guys, need help with the following.....

My spreadsheet contains a number of columns, of which one specifies whether a certain row is to be is to be deleted or not.

This column contains the word "delete" in each row that requires deletion.

I would like to be able to return all rows that contain "delete"

Do I use vlookup for this or not???

Any help much appreciated.

Ron

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
No, VLOOKUP() will only return the 1st "find", it will then stop looking.

I think you will be better off using a filter. Find that on the Home tab, at the end/Sort and Filter/Filter. Uncheck everything but delete
