Hello ladies and gents,

I am sure this has been asked a thousand time.

This formula is placed in BAG3:AS and then copied down

=VLOOKUP(D2,AABD!D:G,4,FALSE). If found, this then needs to check the relative row in AABD:G for SV (text specific), if true, return the value in that same row (number) in AABD:I

This formula as mentioned above will be placed in BAG3:AS

Any help is appreciated

Thanks

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
=VLOOKUP(D2,AABD!D:G,4,FALSE). If found, this then needs to check the relative row in AABD:G for SV (text specific
Vlookup is looking down column D to match D2 for a value in column G, the 4 in the vlookup , so then you want to look again at column G for SV ?
which unless d2 is SV , then it wont be true - AM i missing something ?

Excel Formula:
=IF(VLOOKUP(D2,AABD!D:G,4,FALSE)="SV",VLOOKUP(D2,AABD!D:I,5,FALSE),"")
