Good Afternoon,
I am trying to assist someone with a VLOOKUP issue. I have read the directions and watched a couple of videos and I just cannot translate it to this spread sheet.
This person wants to type in an ID number and have it return last name, first name, and grade into a different sheet in the workbook.

Looking up column A on this sheet

need to have column C, D, E filled once column B has a number that matches column in the first sheet.

is this possible?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I think I have the solution now. I used the Filter function from above, by Ahoy NC, and I was able to get it to work.
I appreciate all of your suggestions and assistance. I will be working to get better with the VLOOKUP! I know it is powerful and I have been slacking in this area.
Have a great Holiday Season and Merry Christmas everyone!

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Would Windows 11 be causing me any issues with this?
I just had my machine updated last week, and I am still working through some of the changes.
Unlikely that it's a Windows issue.
Can you upload the sheet to a hosting site like Dropbox, with sensitive data removed, so we can investigate further. This should be simple exercise

Are the CCID and the student ID the same number for the respective students ??
