I cut and pasted data in ms word, then imported into ms excel. I have 2 simple columns. Vlookup will not work except for the frist line. Anything past the 1st line is like it is not there. Tested by manuallY entering same data in another sheet. Vlookup worked fine. Tried cutting and pasting whole sheet to another sheet. Still no luck. Any ideas?

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Welcome to the board..

Without seeing sample data, and formula you used..
Best guess is "Numbers Stored As Text"

Try copying any blank cell
Then highlight the range of data that you copied/pasted from word
Right click - Paste Special - Values - ADD
Click OK.

Hope that helps.
