Vlookup??

I am having major trouble trying to link a range of text on one tab inside a workbook to produce the quantity associated with the specific text it s searching for on another tab. What I am tying to accomplish is on one tab when a specific text is entered it can reference the range (which is text) I have selected on another the entire B column (Appliance!B:B) almost 200 different kinds of text it has to look through in the B column, when that text has a quantity (on first tab "budget sheet") it is summed on specific cell that I have selected, on the (Budget sheet). Effectively when I paste into the workbook (budget sheet), the cells will search the "Appliance tab" for the exact same text and any value that is associated with that text on the "budget sheet" goes to the appropriate cell on the budget sheet so I can simply budget job quickly. Any HELP would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
