WANTED: Custom work

I'm looking for someone who can put together a sales management tool for me. Not sure if it's best to do in Excel or Access. Basically, I have an eBay business and would like to track my sales (calculating various costs to determine profit/loss). The big challenge for me has been how to come up with monthly totals and start fresh every month.
