I've searched and searched on here so please forgive me if I missed this somewhere as I am a new member and am still looking around.

What I am wanting to do is when opening the excel attachment the user is prompted to enable macros. When this selection is made I would like for that to trigger a macro of my choosing to run. Is this possible?

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).

I found a work around to what I needed. Thanks to all who read this!

Glad you found your answer.
Were you looking for a Auto_Open macro that started once the workbook was opened ?
Just curious, because there aren't many "workarounds" for this type of action.

Hello Michael :)

No, what I was wanting was for some sort of trigger that would make my macro buttons appear as I have them hidden. I forgot all about the "Ctrl x" to run a macro which solved my dilemma perfectly. With that I was able to make my other macro buttons reappear when needed.

I am new to macros but have a sheet at work that is full of some pretty in depth formulas and vlookups. I did not want a co-worker to hit those macro buttons by mistake at the wrong time...as many others need the sheet for information.

Thank you for your reply!
